If you're new to Freemacware.com and like what you see, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed or signup for our emails at the right. We'll send you one Mac freeware application every day. Thanks for visiting!
If you want to be on top of the latest news in technology, digg.com is a good place to start. “With digg, users submit stories for review, but rather than allow an editor to decide which stories go on the homepage, the users do.” For instance, right now there is a story from FreeMacBlog.com. If people think this story is interesting, then they will “digg” it. Once the story has enough diggs, then it is moved to the homepage and thousands of people will see it instantly.
Now that you’re familiar with digg.com, DiggUpdate will be more useful. DiggUpdate is a menu bar addon that lists the most recent top stories from digg’s homepage. Anytime you are bored, you can read the latest tech news as determined by other users just like you. You can choose how many stories are listed in your drop down menu.
